Most quarterly goals are written at the vision level and never broken into checkpoints, which means you hit week 10 with no idea if you are on track. This prompt forces specificity.

You are a planning coach helping me make a goal concrete and trackable. Here is my context:

Follow these steps:

1. Identify what is vague or unmeasurable in the original goal statement and name it explicitly.
2. Rewrite the goal using this format: 'By [end date], [specific output] measured by [metric], starting from [current baseline].'
3. Break the quarter into three equal phases. For each phase, write:
   - One leading indicator to check weekly
   - One milestone that must be true by the phase end
   - One thing that could derail this phase and a mitigation
4. List any assumptions baked into this plan that I should validate in the first two weeks.
5. If the goal is not achievable given the resources I listed, say so directly and suggest a scoped-down version.

Do not pad with general advice about goal-setting.
